MARKET REPORT. The Franklin Farmers’ ing Co., L’fmfted, report: > At our usual weekly sale on FriSay pigjs came forward in small, numbers and quite a number of those entered were rough and poor. Prices dropped considerably from previous week. Good weaners brought 11s, rough from 9s to 13s. slips 20s to 22s 6d, rough ones from 9afto 13s. At the mart we had good entries \n most lines. The advertised horses and implements brought satisfac-. tory prices ; the horses realised £116„ dray £5 and sundry implements and tools satisfactory prices. - - In poultry we had full prices having a falling tendency. Efght hens sodjd at Is 9d ’to2 s, medium weights 2s 6d to 3s 3d, roosters 3s 6d to ss; the stop price being paid, for a purebred 8.0. lOp. Ducks ss* to 5s ; cauliflowers 3s 3d to 5s dozes, swedes 3s cwt; chaff (disced oured) 2s 0d sack; cabbages were in short supply. In apples we had sma'R'er entries than usual. Locals sold at 5s case ? poorman’s orangete; 3s 9d to 5s GcC case), lemons Is dozen. A very large quantities of sundries both in the back yard and in the mart sold at satisfactory prices.
