SUDDEN DEATH.
mn JAMES A. GILL EXPIRES. DUE TO HEART FAILURE. The death took place at the residence of Mr J. E. Richards, Seddon Street, on. Sunday morning, of Mr James Alfred Gill, aged 52 a clerk employed by Mr V. S.. Roberts land agent, Pukekohe. Deceased, who had been a resident of Pukekohe for about tbreei years, had not been in the best of health for some time past. While dressing on Sunday morning at about 9 o’clock, he suddenly exp'red, death apparently being clue to heart disease. Deceased was a native of Lancashire, coming to New Zealand about 8 years ago, about three of which he has spent in Pukekohe in, the employ of Mr William Roulston- the Franklin Farmers’ Auctioneering Company, and tateriy Mr V. S. Roberts. He was highly respected by all with whom he came in contact: He has no relatives in New Zealand,, but it is supposed that he has a sister at Wigan, England. An inquest was held yesiterday before the District Coroner »Mr R- FWebsiter, J.P. Evidence was given by Mrs Richards, Mr Stanley Hume, deceased’s room mate, and Dr Wake.
The coroner returned a verdict in accordance with the medical testimony that death was due to heart failure.
