All arrangements have now been made for Uxe opening of the handsome new Vic.tory Hall. His Excellency, the Governor-General, has kindly consented \to perform the ceremony which will commence at halfpast one on Wednesday, June 7th. After a short address from the chairman, Lord Jellicoe will deliver his speech and unveil the dedicatory tablet. Short addresses wilil then be given by a >epresentati.ve of the returned soldiers, and by the clergy of, the district. Ajt the conclusion of the formal portion of the function an entertainment will be given, followed by afternoon tea. Prices have been fixed at an extremely low level as may be seen in the advertisement ih another column.
