NEXT MONTH.
THE EVENT OF THE YEAR,
Thq Franklin A. and P. Society’s Winter Show, the greatest event of the year, will be held on the Show grounds on May 17, 18, 19 and 20, and present indications point to the 1922 event eclipsing all previous records. The schedule, which may be obtained on application ito the secretary (Mr D. R. Hamilton) contains classes for all j
exhibitors.. Provision is made for agriculturists, poultry, dogs, cookery, preserves, art and plain needlework, garden hams and, bacon, fruit and floral .artistry, with' competitions galore for all classes. One of jthe main features of the Show will be the dog'trials. A handsome shield —the Auckland Provincial *Sheep Dog Trial Challenge Shield—will be competed for.' Com* peting dogs are expected from, all parts of the province. A representative football match, between Hamilton and Franklin, wilt be held on Saturday, May 20th. A fact that intending exhibitors should note is that entries close on May 2nd. Do not overlook ‘this date!
