BEAUTIFYING SOCIETY.
PAPAKURA MOVING. The advisablity of establishing a Beautifying Society at Papakura was the subject before a meeting, presided over by the chairman of the Town Board (Mr S. Evans) recently. Those present were of the opinion that it was desirable that a Beautifying Socety be established at Papakura, and that a committee consisting of the chairman, Messrs Butterworth, Holt, and Cooper he set up to attend the next meeting of the Progressive League, with a request that it bring forward the matter of the development of a Beautifying Society for Papakura.
