PAERATA-KARAKA HALL.

Sir, —Allow me a small space in your paper to ask oe nor two questions. (One) Is this hall being built out of public subscriptions, or is it a private venture ? (Two) If this hall is subscribed to by the general public why do one or two in the Paerata district hold)meetings and not advertise that such meetings are to be held ? Is It that they do noft want the general public to know anything, or perhaps it is a want of a little forethought on the part of those who seem to be more than interested in the building of this hall, jthat those who are willing to be interested are not wanted at their meeings or at any other time. —I am,qtc.,
