All mothers of pretty babies should make a point of entering them in the Baby Show at the big Band Gymkhana this week end. Thei more entries the better the competition. Be sure your babv is entered.

The alterations to ( the building at the rear of the Presbyterian Church, Pukekohe, have now been completed, and the infant department will now meet in the classroom on Sabbath ■mornings at 9..50, instead of in the afternoons.

Owing to pressure on our space an important letter re school matters at Pukekohe East, balance of Clevedon Show prize list, Manurewa and Waiuku news,, and report of golden wedding of Mr and Mrs Raynes, have had to be held over until Friday.

A reminder is given the general public of the Pukekohe Municipal Band’s Gymkhana and Floral Fete, which takes place on the Show grounds on Friday and Saturday next. The proceeds of the function will go towards acquiring uniforms for the Band. Posters containing the sports programme may be obtained from the committee or Mr V f S. Roberts.
