ANNIVERSARY DAY TOURNEY. WON BY V/. WILSON’S RINK. A one-day tournament he:! under the auspices of the Pukekohe Bowling Club, took place on Anniversary Day, and from all points of view was highly successful., Only six qtnks competed, but some very close games eventuated. The ;tourney was won by W. Wilson’s rink, while W. Blake and Duncan Roulston’s rinks /took second prizes. Results are :

Porter;, J. H. Waters, Duncan Roulston (s) 3 ; H„ Curd, E. E. Ingpen, F. ;H. Hewitt, W. Wilson, (s) 14, v. H„ J. Lodge, L. S. Civil, B. Clarke, W. Buchan (s) 14.

Second round.—W. Wilson 15 v. C. Clarke 15 ; W. Blake 13 v. W. Buchan 11 ; Duncan Roulston 14 v„ J. Blake 9.

Third round.—W. Wilson 13 v. Duncan Roulston 12 ; W. Blake 20 v. C. Clarke 9 W. Buchan 16 v. W. Blake 10.

Fourth round.—W,. Wilson 20 v. W. Blake 10; J. Blake 14 v. C. Clarke 6 ; D. Roulston IS v., W. Buchan 5.. Fiifjth round.—D. Roulston 9 v. W. Bake 6 ; Wilson 16 v. J. Blake 3. Buchan and. Clarke did not play this game.

W. Wilson had 3 wins and 2 drawn games ; D. Roulston 3 wins, 2 losses ; W. Blake 3 wins 2 losses ; C. Clarke 1 win 2 losses and 1 draw ; W. Buchan 1 win, 2 losses, 1 draw; J, Blake 1 win, 4 losses. The winning rink comprised H. Curd, El E. Ingpen, F. 11. Hewitt, W, Wilson (skip). At the conclusion of play Mr D. Roulston presented the prizes to the winners and runners-up. ST. HELjIER’S BAY TOURNEY. A team comprising Messrs G. G. Littlejohn, D. Jamieson, Dave Roulsston and H. V. Gribble, participated at the St. Helier’s Bay one-day bowling tournament on Anniversary Day. Two wins and two losses was the team’s result, although it went very close to winning its- section. SOUTH AUCKLAND TOURNAMENT. Messrs C. K. Lawrie, Jas. Crosbie, J. H. Keith and G. H.. Armstrong, Pukekohe bowlers, are taking part in the bowling tournament held tinder the auspices of the South Auckland Centre.
