PROFICIENCY EXAMINATIONS.
AN EXCELLENT RECORD: The ' Tuakau Public School has * record -which any school can justly feel proud, in connection with thh proficiency examinations, and which reflects great credit on the head- . master (Mr W. G. Graham), Since 1915 up to and including 1921, 54 candidates have been presented, 50 > have gained proficiency, four annexeel a competency certificate, whilsJ the failures were nil. Five P. Butterworth, E. Oldham, G. Gowan, R. Drumin, and A. McGuiflHH went through standards five arid in one year,. The record is one should be hard to beat.
