ENTERTAINMENTS.

THE FUN FACTORY.

SOME ST. LEON PRODUCTS.

How would you like to be able to boast 81 years and the ability to hold an audience in hysterics with new jokes for any time required ? That is certainly something to be proud of, but the man who does it has been at ft so long that he sees nothing extraordinary in the uniqiue performance. He is the grand-dad of the present generation of St. Leon’s, thefamous circus family, and the very r

mention of Gus St. Leon wHI conjure up happy memories of the greatest talking clown south of the Line in the minds of the older circus-goers. “I’m going to be in this,” said the l old man, when a tour of New Zealand was afoot, and he caught the first boat from Melbourne. It is true in more than one way that Gus is the greatest clown, of his age*. Others in the 9t. Leon Fun Factory are Jasper Peat and Adrian St. Leon. The latter is another talking clown whose wit sparkles like a waterfall in the sun , it streams out jugt about as rapidly too. Jasper is a Dummy, and not of the stale-antic type. “Novelty” is his slogan, and the .many diversified garbs in which he appears would in. themselves give an undertaker, lauo-h- - funny men in the St. Leon outfit, when working singly or together, play an important part in the--20 new acts that the circus will introduce.
