STRAND THEATRE..
TO-MORROW (SATURDAY) NIGHT*
William Russell puts over another big success in “The Challenge of the Law/’ his latest Fox production, which made a striking impression, upon the barge audiences which witnessed it elsewhere, and which will be shown at the Strand Theatre tomorrow night. Here is a virile tale of the Canadian backwoods and the Royal North-west Mounted Police, in which Russell appears as a captain* A band of fur smugglers are carry* ing on heir illicit trade across the border, and the captain is sent to put an end to this. He does well what ho is sen to do—does it thoroughly; and, of course, everything ends happly for him, when he captures the girl of his heart.
