SPORTS AT PATUMAHOE..;
The Mauku Athletic- Clutfs 38th annual sports and picnic will be Held at Patumahoe on Monday, January 2nd. The programme, which appeared in our last issue, contains iv long, and varied list of open events. The chief event is the Mauku Cup Handicap of £ls, run over a distance of 220 yards. The state is large, and should attract some of the best provincial sprinters. Excellent prizes are provided) in the remaining events. The event is always looked forward towith interest, and as special arrangements are being made for the 1922 meeting intending patrons are assured of a splendid outing..
