PUKEKOHE FIRE BRIGADE.

ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Fire Brigade was held on Wednesday, the 2nd. After the ordinary business was disposed of, Captain Brown congratulated the members on the efficiency shown at the various competitions during the past year, also on the sound financial position of the Brigade, which, he hoped, would steadily improve. He also thanked several citizens for (their help, and interest in the Brigade. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows Captain • Brown, Foreman Adams, Secretary Rollinson, reelected ; .Fireman Mitchell was elected treasurer, vice Mr Short, who resigned, and Mr Dean was re-elected as auditor.
