MARKET REPORT, Messrs Brassey & Co. report that at last Friday’s sale poultry oarne fqrward in fair numbers, brinning from 3s to 6s each. Pigs were sho,qt of supply, although there were a number of buyers waiting them. Produce in large quantities brought good prices ; cabbages brought up to 6d each; mixed vegetables sold at ruling prices. Pickling onions sold at 2d’ lb, lemons 9d doz. Children’s and ladies’ shoes (new) from 4s 6d to 10s a pair. Furnijture in large quantities foundr eady buyers. Southern potatoes, 15s 2cwt. sack ; secondhand harness was in goo ddemand.
