PY MANUKAU COUNTY COUNCIL,

The Prime Minister’s (Rt. Hon. -W.* F. Massey, M.P. for Franklin) work at the Imperial Conference was eulogised at the monthly meeting of the Manukau County Council on Tuesday by the chairman (Mr F. M. Waters). He thought it fitting that the Council, should write Mr Massey extending tp him a cordial welcome home from J,he Conference, where he had worthily (represented New Zealand. He had taken a prominent part in the affairs o: the Empire, and his woi’k thereat had been eulogised, by the leading papers in the Old Country. His work was appreciated to the fullest extent by New Zealand citizens. Mr Waters moved and Mr House seconded, that the Council congratulate the Prime Minister on the work he had done, and also wishes him success and prosperity in the future. The motion was carried unanimously.
