CRICKET CLUB.
ANNUAL MEETING, The annual meeting of the Pukekohe Cricket Club was held in Thursday last, when Mr R. Schlaepfer presided over a good atendance. The following officers were elected : Patron, Mr W. Roulston ; president, Mr J.F. Deane ; vice-presidents, Messrs A. F. Brown, Jas. Roulston, W. T. Jones, and F. Perkins ; secretary and! treasurer, Mr J. G. Hastie; management committee, Messrs Stan. Fitness, P. George, B. Geraghty, and A. Schiaepfer; canvassing committee, Messrs G. Fitness, R. Hill and J. Hastie ; captain, Mr S. Fitness ; vicecaptain, Mr .R. Schiaepfer. The subscription was fixed at 15s and 7s 6d for junior members. It was decided! to approach the Borough Council regarding the construction of a pitch on the Domain. Delegates to the propsed l Franklin Association were also appointed, A general meeting of the Club will be held on Wednesday next.
