MEET AT PAWBsURE. Hounds met at Panmure Bridge lar-t Saturday. The day was wet and squally. They were thrown off on Mr Thompson’s farm and cast about for i nearly ten minutes. Then a burst o( music gladdened the egos of the huntsmen, and away went puss across the road into Mr White's 'hum, on i through Messrs Blake's, O'Meagher s j and Roberts’ until it was back once j more into Mr Thompson's and was. lost on the beach. A heavy sguHi stopped hunting Jor a time. After it cleaved up hounds were cast olr again in Mr Hattaway s. They took off. into Messrs \vhitloru s | White’s and Roberts’, huntsmen nog- - tinting wire fences, saplings and _ hedges during 1 lie afternoon. Gooa sport was enjoyed and hares we: e plentiful. Scent was easy to follow and hounds ran well. The farmers l were ail good sports and alter the followers thought the ground war too f soft to hunt on they ad said: "Go j •"ahead!
