Tait, Since their first tour of New Zealand over 12 years ago the famous musicians have travelled the world, and thlr name is known in every English-speaking- country. Necessarily, with the passing of the years, the art of the trio has malureed, and their sound and finished musicianship is now winning for them a merited place in the front ranks of the great contemporary Russian School. The box plan is at Mr K. L. Cannel’s, the Bookery. STRAND THEATRE, TO-NIGHT (TUESDAY). . Q “THE MARRIAGE OF WILLIAM ASHE,” An excellent programme from the world’s leading studios will be presented at the Strand Theatre tonight. The star attraction is a brilliant social satire from Mrs Humphrey Ward’s famous novel, “The Marriage of William Ashe,” featuring that clever and bewitching actress, May Allison, in chief role. It is a Metro special production, and this alone should be sufficient guarantee of the class of picture to be unspooled. The picture is good and is supported by a number of lesser lights. Do not miss this programme, iti s said to be good.
