Sir,—As “One of the Fifteen” failed -to appreciate my motive in ignoring the greater part of his first letter, and expressed himself with the confidence of a budding; “Sherlock Holmes” in his second effort, I have decided to give him an opportunity to prove his skill. ( ; 3). if he can prove one statement of mine to be incorrect I vail donate £.lO to the Technical High School fund, provided that he will donate a similar sum if he fails to do so. (2). If he piefers to back his own statements for the amount stated above rather than to challenge mine, I undertake to deposit the same amount and to forfeit it if 1 fail to prove, to the satisfaction of the Franklin Rugby Union officials, that several of the statements made by “One of the Fifteen” are absolutely contrary to fact. —I am, etc., W.
