GOLF NOTES.

mONTHLY (MEDAL COMPETITION. Tire monthly medal competition was competed for last Tuesday, when member's of the Auclcalnd Ladies. Golf Club met at the Middlamore links, Mangere. The course was in good playing order and conditions generally were equal to those prevailing on the Friday previous. Some good cards were returned, the best being:—

Seniors: Miss M. Macfarlane, 102 gross, 19 handicap—S3 not; Miss M. Riding. 108, 20—S8; Miss M. Alison, S 9, 10—S9; Mrs Marshall, 103,1-I—SS;

Juniors: Miss Dfil Morton 112 gross, 23 handicap— B9 net; Miss F. Rathbone 127, 33—94,
