~ STRAND THEATRE. TO-NIGHT (TUESDAY) “CINDERELLA'S TURN.” ’ % Viola Dana, Metso's sprightly little star, whose latest starring vehicle, “Cinderella’s Twin." will be shown at the Strand Theatre to-night, is just as much at home in the kitchen part she pc.4trays in the picture as in the athletic life she so much adores. For be it known that the charming little screen favourite is no novice when it comes to finding her way among the pots and pans, whether it be to ccncoct a good substantial dinner or just to prepare a delicate little luncheon. In her picturesque home among tire motion picture colony in Hollywood, Calif., iMss Dana frequently entertains her friends with dainty* repasts which she -has prepared herself. When it comes to cooking Miss Dana believes that every girl, whether she be a star or an extra should be able to not only plan a dinner bet also be thoroughly competent to go into the* kitchen and make up the meal as she has prianned it. “A woman who can’t cook,” said Miss Dana, “in my opinion id just about as bad as a man who has to depend upon his vaiet to dress him. Every girl should be acquainted with the kitchen.” 'The supports are good.
