GNEWHERO. Mrs Cheeseman and Miss Ellis arc taking a much needed holiday in Auckland, where they are the guests of Mrs Hete, of Dominion Road. Mr Biddick has had a very bad time in Hamilton Hospital, but he is home again minus a finger. At one time there was great fear ho might have to Kse an.arm, but all danger of that is over. The accident was a simple one, merely a prick from barb wire, but it had far-reaching consequences. During his absence his fifteen-year-s< n l\ad the misfortune to break his arm. Mr T. Mu'r, at a recent meet mg held with a view to erect an up-to-date hall on the Domain,, amde a very sound suggestion, vij.. that we should get an expert up to suggest the most suitable site for the hall and generously offered £5 towards .‘the cost.
