POTATOES WANTED.

Sir, —Re Pukekohe Technical High. School Improvement Fund. On behalf ~ of the Technical High School Committee, I appeal to the farmers around Pukekohe to give 2 tons of GamePuk’ekohe to give 2 tons of Gamekeeper or Star seed potatoes to be planted in the school grounds. It has beep decided to cultivate the three acre* nov/ under plough with potatoes s# as to thoroughly pulverise the* soiL The committee hopes to have a definite plan ready for the laying out of the school grounds early in the New Year. We wish the people to understand that this school property ia theirs, and every individual as well as the committee should take a lire interest in its welfare. I am sorry to say that a great number of the farmers around Pukekohe, up to the piesent, have not directly subscribed one penny piece, and they now have the opportunity of showing their practical sympathy by sending soma seed potatoes along.. The .potatoes can be left with F. Perkins and Co. Trusting that this appeal will bring in the quantity of potatoes needed.— I am, etc., FRANK PERKINS,
