MARKET REPORT.

The Franklin Farmers’ Auctioneering Co., Ltd., reports: —At our usual sale on Friday we had an average entry in all lines. Pigs sold at good prices. Weaners 16s to 215,. slips up to 27s 1 Poultry: Hens,, poor 2s to 2s 9d, medium 3s 3d to 4s, heavy 4s to ss; ducks, 4s to 5s 3d. Fruit sold at slightly better prices than last week. Shrubs and pot plants sold at satisfactory prices. Cabbage came forward in large quantities and very slack competition, prices ruled low in consequence. Potatoes Bs, other vegetables in good supply sold at satisfactory prices. A quantity of sundry harness, and oddments was disposed of. Furniture was held over for Wdenesday’s sale.
