On Saturday last the finals for the president's prize were played oil, Mr ,L. Bavly winning from Mr Chapmans 4 up and 3 to play and Mrs L. Bayly winning from Mrs Motion 4 up and 3to play. A medal handicap match for men was also played and this, resulted in a win fer Mr W, Johns.

Players are to be congratulated or* the good form shewn on the last two or three Saturdays and some very interesting contests have so far takers place. '
