The Post's London correspondent mentions that next year there is to be --a World Conference of the churches, at which the subjects to be discussed will be Christian politics, economics, and citizenship. Dr Temple, Bishop of: Manchester, who is also the head of the Life and Liberty Movement in the Church of England, is the moving spirit of the proposed conference. Principal Carrie will be or.e of the chief representatives of the Free Churches, and Monsignor Brown will take toe point of view of the Catholic Church in England, 'ihe inclusion of the Roman Catholic Church in a conference of this hint; r.-jil be a new departure-, but the subjects of debate are not to include anything of ; distinctly doctrinal nature.
