HOSPITAL BOARD LEVY.
INCREASED TO THREE-TENTHS OF A PENNY. At Mbn day’s meeting of the Papakura Town Board, the Auckland Hospital and Charitable Aid Board intimated that its estimated expenditure for the year ending 1922 amounted to £155,973 15s Sd, made up as follows-Liabilities of the Board at 31st March, 1921, £12,698 8s Id, expenditure of the Board for the year ending 31st March, 1922, £143,275 7s Bd. The estimated income was £112,896 19s 2d, and the proposed apportionment thereof was made up as follows! —Contribution: at three-tenths of a penny in the £ £61,667 6s 9d, subsidy on £55,667 5s 9d at 16s 3d in che £, £45,229 13s 5d ; subsidy on £6OOO at 20s in che £, £6OO0 —total £112,896 19s 2u. The rateable capital value of the Board's district at 31st March, 1920, was estimated by the Valuation Department ns £215,745. Any objection must be sent to the Board before June Ist next.
