PUNI BRIDGE.
Sir,- -The writer would like to knew whether the County Council, are waiting for a serious accident to happen at the Puni bridge or what their idea is in not putting the bridge in good repair. On passing over the bridge I noticed half the railing gone on one side of the bridge and the planks all ,jumped about as though they did not belong to the structure. Should an accident happen, may it be to some of the guilty and not the innocent who have no sow in the matter.—l am, etc.. ‘ A RATEPAYER. -r .
