PAPATOETOE.

DANCE COMMITTEE MEETING. ANOMALIES REMOVED. A meeting of the Papatoetoe Young Men’s Dance Committee was held on Wednesday, April 13, to remove certain anomalies which had occurred. Tire chief of these was that a new executitve had been formed before tthe old one had resigned and a rift seemed to be pending. Mr A, V. Timewell was specially requested by both partites concerned to preside and endeavour to bring about an agreeable settlement and his task was I'endered easy by the conciliatory policy adopted by each side, j The meeting organised several social events for the coming season. Mr A. Burton was declared to be chairman and Mr B. Brown, bon. secretary and treasurer.
