OBITUARY.

CECIL ROADLEY, J.P. News was received in Pukekohe this morning of the death, in Auckland yesterday, of Mr Cecil Roadley, J.P. Deceased was at one time coroner at Pukekohe. He was engaged in business here as a stationer and bookseller and took a very keen interest in progressive movements. The late gentleman was a member of the Pukekohe Borough Council and Chamber of Commerce and was one of the pioneers in formulating the electric light policy of this town. The late v Mr Roadley was a keen controversalist, and won the respect and admiration of the town during Ms residence here. The interment will take place at Wellington.
