BOWLING.

INTER-CLUB GAMES. On Saturday fast two rinks from the Devonport and two rinks from the Dominion Road Clubs visited Pukekohe to try conclusions with the home club. The Devonport rinks consisted of the Executive fours team and the first year team which competed at the Auckland Centre’s bowling tournament at Easter. Both rinks were pitted against Pukekohe rinks which also took part at the tourney. The home club were successful in both matches. In the Dominion Road match Pukekohe won one game and the visitors the other. At the conclusion of the games, Mr James Roulston, president of the Pukekohe Club, thanked the visiting clubs for coming to Pukekohe. Such visits cemented the frienship between clubs and he hoped that in future more inter-dub games would take place. Not only were the games appreciated, but tended to improve the play of the respective teams. Cheers were then given for the visitors. Messrs Harvey (Devonport) and Ramsay (Dominion Road) suitably responded. Afternoon tea was dispensed and duly appreciated. Results are as follows: — PUKEKOHE V. DEVONPORT. Executive Fours Match, —F. Perkins, Jas. Doulston, Duncan Roulston, Geo. Armstrong (s), 22, v. G. Waite, A. Goldwater, C. Griffiths, D. Harvey (s), 12. First Year Players.—J. Rae, H. Bromwich, G, G, Littlejohn, F. H.
