WEDDING BELLS.
roulston-wright. A very pretty wedding was solemnised at St. Andrew’s Church, Pukekohe, on Wednesday, March 30, Rev. J. P. Cowie officiating, the contracting parties being Mr Bertie John Roulston, sixth son of the late Mr. James Roulston, and Miss Iris Adele Wright, eldest daughter of Mr R. T. Wright, of Buckland. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked verj sweet attired in white satin with georgette and silver trimming, while she also wore the usual bridal veil and orange blossoms and carried a beautiful shower bouquet. She was attended by two bridesmaids, Miss Edna Wright, sister of the bride, and Miss Hazel Wright, her cousin, each wearing pretty dresses of putty and blue crepe de chine. Little l)ulcie Wright and Rewa Johns acted as flower girls and were dressed in white organde. The bridesmaids carried beautiful bouquets. Mr, Clive Johns, uncle of the bride, acted as best man and Mr J. Inwood as groomsman. Mr J. F. Deane presided at the organ and played the Wedding March. After the ceremony about 80 guests sat down in a large marquee at the residence of the bride s parents, “Broscarne,” Buckland, when the usual toasts were honoured. Subsequently Mr and Mrs Roulston left by train en route for Te Aroha. The bride’s travelling costume was of navy blue serge with pretty hat to match. The presents were costly and numerous, comprising several cheques. The bridegroom's present to the bride was a nice suit case, to the flower gills gold brooches and to the bridesmaids gold brooches.
