FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL.
TREASURER’S REPORT. The treasurer (Mr Alan P. Day) reported as follows at Thursdays meeting of the Franklin County Council: - The total debit balance of the county fund account amounted to ■£lfi,o36 5s lOd. The above debt includes £9476 17s 8d temporarily advanced to loan accounts pending, receipt of loan moneys raised. The accounts now due and payable from this account amount to £3747 18s 7d. Loan Accounts. Credit Balance. —Park road (Papakura) £33 Its; Waiau-Karaka roads £3919 17s. PaerV.ta roads £4312 los Harr isville-Jericho roads £157 19s’ Koherou-Kaiawa-Miranda £7lO 7s 3d’ Mangatangi-New Brighton £3BO 10s 4d Whiriwhiri road (Waiuku) £250 13s sd, Smeed’s road (Tualcau) £598 19s, Avvhitu Riding roads £3612 4s Id Total credit £13,994 16s Id. Debit balance. —Stewart, Cowan and Heald’s roads, £297 13s 3d, plant and machinery loan £B7BB Is 9. Total debit £9086 Is 9d. The accounts payable out of loan account amounted to £l4Bl 14s 9d. The report was adopted.
