Cr Patterson stated that a large number of improvements had been made in Prospect Terrace, amounting to £3OOO, and he was sure not £SOO bad been spent on the street. He wanted a path made to allow the residents a't the north end to get out At present they bad no footpath, while the sides of the road were muddy in winter time. He moved that (the Works’ Committee construct the footpath for six chains the full width. The motion lapsed for want of a seconder. “Well ” said Cr Patterson, “T have done all I can.”
