FRANKLIN RACING CLUB.
INAUGURAL MEETING. TO-MORROW (SATURDAY). The Franklin Racing Club’s inaugural meeting takes place at the club’s racecourse, Pukekohe, to-morrow, and given favourable climatic conditions there is no reason why the meeting should not be an unqualified success from every point of view. The officials have worked assiduously throughout and it is very gratifying to chronicle that elaborate arrangements are complete. Nolthing has be en spared in order that the public will be well catered for. Hot water will be provided free on tthe grounds, and. this should be taken advantage of by picnic parties. With ordinary luck, rthe club’s financial position should be considerably augmented as a result of to-morrow’s meeting.
