THE ORPHAN HOME.

The annual meeting of the Orphan Home Trust Board was held on Tuesday, March 8, when Mr E. Yates; was elected to succeed Mr. C. J. Tunks in the office of chairman.

Mr Tunks, who has been on the Trust Board for many years and has fulfilled the office of chairman with every satisfaction for a number of years, is leaving shortly for England and Europe on an extended + ;Tp, during which he will visit places of historic interest in the Old World. Mr Tunks was until recently chairman of the Y.M.C.A., but passed in his resignation before tbe last annual meet* ing.
