HORAHORA ELECTRIC SCHEME.
LIMITED POWER AVAILABLE. At Monday’s meeting of the Manurewa Town Board, the Minister of Public Works (Hon. J. G. Coates) wrote in reply to the Board’s application for 300 horse power from thq Horahora electrical scheme, stating that there was a very limited amount of power available from this source for distribution in the Auckland district and he was not prepared to distribute this through any other authority than the proposed Electric Power Board.—Received
