PUKEKOHE WEST PICNIC.

AN UNQUALIFIED SUCCESS. The annual picnic, held under the auspices of the Union Church, Pukekohe West, took place in Mr. Jas. Steenson’s paddock, Pukekohe West, on Saturday last, in the presence of a large attendance. The event was an unqualified success from every point of view,, and the committee is deserving of a word of praise for the manner in which the picnic was conducted, The whole of the committee, especially Messrs J. Needham (a newcomer to the district) and A. E. Robinson (formerly of the district but now of Mangere), worked hard to make the function the grand success it was.
