BROOK Y-ALFRISTON MEMORIAL.
VESTED IN MANUKAU COUNCIL. The Brookby-Alfriston War Memorial Committee requested that the ground and monument in.memory of the soldiers who did their bit to uphold the traditions of the Empire, be vested in the control of the Manukau County Council at its last meeting.
On the motion of the chairman, it was decided to accede to the request.
