AN EXHIBIT OF CARS.
LOCAL FIRM’S ENTERPRISE. COOPER AND CURD, LTD. At the Pukekohe Show last week a great deal of interest was taken in the display of motor cars and horse vehicles exhibited by Messrs. Cooper and Curd, of this town. A super six Hudson, the king of all taxi cars, and a roadster and also a touring model Buick called forth a great deal of favourable comment. For the man of moderate means a light four-cylin-der Dort was shown. This car is claimed to be built for service without waste. By that is meant its ability to deliver power, cqmfort, ccnvenienc and pride of possession with as little trouble as possible. In the vehicle line, not less than four different styles of gigs were exhibited. Motor seats and rubber tyres were very much to the front. A pony gig with a seat finished in the natural wood was a striking exhibition of the coachbuilder’s art. One of the firm’s typical waggons waa exhibited. No less than 21 were built during 1920, which is the strongest evidence of satisfaction to the public.*
