PUKEKOHE DEFEATS TUAKAU. BY TWENTY-FIVE RUNS. On Saturday last the Pukekohe cricket team journeyed to Tuakau to meet the Tuakau eleven. A most enjoyable game eventuated and vesultd in a win for the visitors by 25 runs. Tuakau won the toss and sent Pukekohe to the crease. The visitors made I£6 runs, the highest scores being E. McNeil 33 not out* R* JTonkin 26 and Jas. Harriman 22 runs. The three played good steady cricket. Tuakau responded with 81. runs, J. Lonergan knocking up 39, the highest score of the day.
