SUBURBS V. RAMARAMA. A. friendly match was played between the above clubs at the Suburban courts on the 19th inst., when a most enjoyable afternoon was spent. The local players proved too strong for the visitors, although some keenly contested games caused much excitement during the afternoon. The scores are as follows, Suburbs being mentioned first:—

A very pleasant afternoon was spent on the Buckland tennis courts on Saturday, February 19, when the Tuakau Club met the Buckland team. The weather was ideal and the play was good. Afternoon tea was daintily served by the ladies. The games were very keenly contested and close, Buckland eventually winning by 12 sets to 4.
