PEIRCE PUNISHED.

FOR TWO OFFENCES FINED A FIVER. Before Messrs. J. T. Stembiidge and C. K. Laurie, J.’sP., at the Court cn Wednesday, William Peirce pleaded guilty to a charge of wilful trespass on a place occupied by Robert Biocklesby and refused to- quit when warned to do so by Elizabeth Ann Peirce, an authorised person. A fine of £3 was imposed. He also pleaded guilty to an over indulgence in alcoholic beverages and his purse was relieved of another £2. Peirce was also prohibited for 12 months.
