WEDDING BELLS.
MORRISON—CATHCART. A quiet but pretty wedding took place at Onewhero on Monday, February 7, when Mary Kathleen, eldest daughter of John Cathcart, was united in the bonds of holy matrimony with Eric George, eldest son of Mr. George Morrison, late of Pukekawa. The ceremony was performed at the residence of the bride’s parents by Father O’Brien, of Tuakau. The bridS, who was given away by her father, looked charming in a beautiful dress of white georgette, hand embroidered with pearls and beads, and worn with an over-bodice of white satin with bands of white satin 'on the skirt. She carried a beautiful bouquet of roses and asters, and was attended by her sister, Muriel Margaret Cathcart, as bridesmaid. Mr. I. J. Marrison faithfully carried out the onerous duties of best man. To the strains of the “Wedding March,” played by Mr. and Mrs. Floyd, the happy couple, accompanied by some 60 guests, marched to a large marquee to partake of a sumptuous wedding breakfast. The usual tcasts being honoured, Mr. and Mrs. Morrison left by motor for Auckland, with the intention of proceeding next day to Rotorua, where their honeymoon was to be spent. The young couple were the recipients of many handsome presents, an indication of their popularity in the district. Long life and happiness to them.
