FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL.
TREASURER’S REPORT. At the monthly meeting of the Franklin County Council, the Treasurer (Mr. Alan P. Day) reported that the debit balance of the county fund account was £13,522 Bs, accounts due and payable amounted to £3532 8s lid. Loan Accounts. The balances of various loan accounts are as follows:; —- Credit. —Park Road (Papakura) £33 list, Waiau-Karaka Roads £4125 6s 4d, Paerata District Roads £4452 15s lid, Harrisville-Jericho Roads £157 19s, Koheroa-Kaiawa-Miranda £827 7s 3d, Mangatangi-New Brighton 10 per cent. £389 10s 4d, Whirlwhiri Road (Waiuku) £366 14s 6d, Smeeds Road (Tuakau) £600; total, £10,953 4s 4d.
Debit.—Awhitu Riding Roads £194 9s lid, machinery and plant loan £4790 5s 2d; toal„ £4984 15s id. The report was adopted.
