At Thursday’s meeting of the Franklin County Council, Cr. Wilcox moved that the Council place on record its appreciation of the excellent work done by Mr. J. G. Rutherford during his term as representative of the district on the Auckland Hospital and Charitable Aid Board. He pointed out that Mr. Rutherford woidd not seek re-election at the last elect The motion was carried unanimously, the clerk being instructed to forward a letter in accordance with the motion, to the ex-member.
