With reference to the proposed conference, suggested by the Commissioner of Crown Lands, between the Town and Domain Boards, to discuss the advisability of disposing of a portion of the Domain reserve (referred to in our last issue) the chairman reported at Tuesday’s meeting that the Town Board had asked the chairman of the Domain -Board, Mp If. McGuire, to fix a date, but so far a date had not been decided on although the Domain Board had ten days in which to comply with the .request. On the motion of Messrs. Taylor and Finch, the clerk was instructed to write to the Commissioner of Crown Lands pointing out that the Town Board had not received satisfaction as to fixing of a date for the proposed conference and that the Commissioner fix a date for the meeting. Mr. Pirret moved as an amendment that the clerk write the Domain Board asking them to fix a date. Mr. Sim seconded.

On being put the motion was carried, the voting being:—For: Messrs. Taylor, Finch and the chairman. Against: Messrs., Pirret and Sim.
