PAERATA CREEK.

NOTHING FURTHER DONE. In reply to Cr. Woods at Wednesday night’s meeting of the Franklin County Council the. county clerk (Mr. Alan D. Day, reported that up to the present nothing further had been done in connection with defining a rating area for the purpose of raising a loan to clean out the Paerata creek.

Cr. Woods urged that steps be taken as expeditiously as possible. He wanted to have the work completed before the summer was gone.
