LONDON, October 22. Germany’s application for the first time of the system of hostages to the Allied Governments in London marks a furthers step in the recent tightening up of the German campaign of horror and brutality. A Prague announcement" that relatives of the members of the Czech Government in London 'had been sent to internment camps as a reprisal for acts of sabotage was answered last night by the Czech Foreign Minister. M. Jan Masaryk, who warned the Prague authorities of the punishment in store after the war for the perpetrators of such acts of barbarism.
