ARGENTINE SHIPPING
RIO DE JANEIRO, October 22. The President, Dr Ramon Castillo, told the Press that Argentine shipping would not operate under convoy. The Argentine State -merchant marine would, he said, preferentially be devoted to maintaining supplies to Argentina and Brazil, but because of Argentina’s international position it was unnecessary that the Argentine fleet should operate under special protection.
